Chop Chop 2Q Boost

Description

The Chop Chop Boost is a versatile two stage transistor boost with a simple user interface consisting of a GAIN knob and a pair of pre and post GAIN high pass filters. The filters "chop" the signal. Depending on the combination of filters and gain, the Chop Chop Boost will give beautiful uncompressed clean tones to dark and fuzzy drive tones. The output cleans up nicely in response to your guitar's volume knob and is very touch sensitive.

• PRE

  Toggles between a full spectrum boost and a ~400Hz high pass filter.

• POST

  Toggles between a full spectrum boost and a ~1.5 kHz high pass filter.

With both PRE and POST filter cuts enabled, a powerful, rich and gritty treble booster is created. With PRE on and POST off, a nicely balanced touch sensitive boost is created. With PRE off and POST on, a mid-focused fuzzy drive tone is created. With both PRE and POST off, a dark fuzzy drive is created.
